It is so unfortunate and sad that we will never be able to listen to Chopin played by Chopin, and the same can be said of so many others… but I just discovered that records exist of my favorite composer playing my favorite concerto. Yay ! And while this is far from being on par with current audio quality standards, the privilege of glimpsing at how the master intended the piece to be played ? Just priceless.
